TA Junior and Novice Tournament 2024

The TA Bridge Club Junior and Novice Tournament was held on Sunday 13th October. This is was the final leg of the Waikato Bays Region Junior League. 16 pairs entered. After a hotly contested two sessions the winners were Bob Le Quesne (in his third ever tournament) and David Gibb emerged victorious. Well done Bob and David. Session prizes were won by Pauline and Christine and Alison and Lorraine. Well done all. The League winners had been confirmed prior to the TA leg. However TA players featured heavily in the top ten for a League contested over 6 tournaments throughout the Year. Anthea Mackintosh came a very creditable 3rd In equal 5th spot were Mike Joyes, Lorraine Blignaut, Alison Muggeridge and Pauline Groenedahl. Christine Mills came 10th. Well done to all and this bodes well for TA in the future once these players reach their full potential.
