Monday night saw 18 new members graduate from attending 10 weeks of lessons. We welcome them to our club and look forward to seeing them at the bridge table.

Jocelyn Bayley and Pauline Van Groenedaal are Open Champions winning the Graham Cup for 2025.

With consistent performances over the last 5 weeks they produced a stella today overtaking the reigning champions. Well done ladies

The Fairland Shield was once again contested between Te Awamutu and Cambridge. It was a great afternoon of Bridge and was enjoyed by all. Unfortunately Cambridge retained their hold on the Shield. Maybe it will be our turn next year.

Bruce got into the spirit of wearing a dress on Tuesday. On the first Tuesday of the month the ladies are wearing dresses!! Bruce didn't want to be left out. What about the dahlia in his hair!

ON THursday 17th October Waitomo held their annual restricted tournament. 7 pairs from Te Awamutu were among the 26 pairs competing on the day. After 2 hard fought sessions Te Awamutu came out well in the results with the following successes. Best Junior/Junior Pair Hazel Anwell and Alison Muggeridge. Best Intermediate/Junior Pair Karen Deane and Christine Mills Overall second place Kate McFadyen and Nick Saunders - losing out by a mere 0.25% to first place getters Jenny and Ann Well Done All.
